The dragons are actual characters, and human involvement is virtually non-existent; it's only natural that /scaly/ would latch onto it.Another thing people keep forgetting is that the series started in 2012, was geared towards 12-year-olds, and was published by Scholastic, meaning it's on kids' summer reading lists. Anyone who was 12 when the books came out would be 26 now - the age of the average user on modern 4chan. In other words, as bad as it may be, the series was a lot of people's childhood here, and in some cases, possibly their introduction to their scalie awakening. Really shouldn't be too hard to see why it keeps popping up, especially when there's literally no other discussion going on otherwise.
