>>109111156It is unfortunate. Its like trying to chase the overall fad of the current time. A big thing I think with a lot of the world, and this really might just be me projecting in a way. Is that it is difficult and risky to simply come up with something new and offer it to the world. When I was younger I loved playing and tinkering with code making little games or simulations. And making the artwork for it all too it was fun. Run into a problem then read through documentation and stack overflow threads of people hitting the same walls. A big reflection point for me this month is that this ultimately has been a big problem. I never took the time to properly learn higher concepts of system design. And my process of basically offloading my cognition onto searches didn't pressure me to actualize the problems I was running into into a proper knowledge bank for me to utilize. I'm realizing now I've essentially let things slide. Use it or lose it type of situation. Also at a point where I don't think I'm cut out for it, real world catches up and need to find a place in it.I still do like to write some code from time to time. I like when stupid arguments start spreading online, one recently was the boxes and gold coins one meant to showcase bertrands paradox. (I had to wikipedia what this was just now because I had forgotten!!!) Idea being you have 3 boxes, 1 with two silver coins, 1 with two gold coins, 1 with 1 gold 1 silver coins. You pull a coin at random it happens to be gold. What is the probability of pulling another gold coin from the same box? It seems intuitive that is 1/2 chance. But in reality it is 2/3 probability of being a gold coin. Wrote a little simulation in python to log choices at random for over a couple thousand sims. Then post here on 4chan to all the people arguing showing that it converges to 2/3rds. Thats what I love avout programming. (If you're wondering why it is 2/3rds it is entirely based on the initial pick)
