Why doesn't /v/ start a game dev project?Surely there must be enough programmers, artists, etc. to be able to make a small 2D multiplayer game (maybe a pixel moba or low-poly moba that /v/ can play together).
>>748933513/v/ is a completely raped board that can't even produce a good thread, let alone a game. The only actual notable 4chan games that have been made are from /trash/, /a/ or /vp/.
I like the classic gaming one, and also the boards for specific old consoles and specific old games. Sort of a healthy medium between the abrasiveness and shit flinging of /vr/ and the hugbox of r/retrogaming.
>>12855462I never made an account there but I like to read the guides and forum posts from time to time; it is the first site I go to whenever I replay something and I need to double-check for stuff I may miss or want strat advice.I won't flinch the day 4chan goes under, but I'm certain I will feel like shit the day Gamefaqs dies.
I miss it when this site used to be about fun shitposting and didn't consist of chud melties in every thread all the time
>>225205532Blame 2016 for that, although 4chan always had chud melties here atleast from the first time I've been here since
To all the people aspiring to post their own webcomic or become artists in general, what's stopping you from developing this idea?
>>155711666I'm currently on Garden Leave until at least February, so I'm using this time to get my scripts in working order. Right now the big project is a 24 page primer into my proposed comic universe. And I'm taking a page from one of Mark Millar's Superman Adventures #41. I'm going to have every page be it's own self-contained story, running the tonal spectrum of horror, action, comedy, drama, and mystery. Assuming I get all the pages scripted, I'm going to petition 24 separate artists for each of the stories. Hopefully I can identify a solid way of letting them choose which story they feel most jazzed about that way I could get their best. For simplicity sake, I'm going to use the same colorist/inker for the entire thing because there is no way in hell could I coordinate with that many people. Lastly, all the scripts will be written according to a 4x4 grid to ensure consistency across pages. I also need to cram as much content as possible into each page to make it worthy of people wanting to fucking read it. It has to be worth their time.Assuming I get the pages penciled, inked, lettered, reviewed by an editor, and topped with a cover artist, I'm going to post that shit to 4chan immediately as a cbr as well as just paste the pages here in a storytime. I want to give back.
Alright, whip 'em out, which OSs have you ever used?First one I used was Windows Vista for some years, also used 7 a bit, didn't have issues with either. I used Windows 8 a little but I didn't care for it, UI and whatnot was all wonky to me. Windows 10 for about 10 years now, could be better but generally I like it. I've used Artix Linux, works (usually) ((sometimes)) once you get it set up but what a pain that was (KDE Plasma and OpenRC). For what I use it for, it gets the job done though, and I wanted a bit of a challenge anyways, learning experience. I've also tinkered with Puppy Linux (64 bit Slackware base) in a virtual machine. It was neat but it didn't run great and I kept running into issues, didn't much care for the look of it either. There was also this Ubuntu furry remix that hasn't been updated since 2011 or something. It was fun to mess around with, again in a VM, but couldn't do much since it hadn't been updated in like 15 years. Still had the old logos for a whole bunch of stuff. Doodled a cute little lady in the drawing program it came with.I also tried the new version of Hannah Montana Linux for the lulz but man that thing lagged like hell for me. Basically just a weird reskin of Debian. If I had to rank them it'd go:Windows 10/Windows 7Windows VistaArtixPuppy LinuxUbuntu furry remixI'm not gonna count the other one since I used it for like 30 minutes and barely did anything besides try to browse the web and drew a borzoi in KolourPaint.
>>109972632And it gets worse, just 15 months before the first of Gen Alpha (iPad kids) can start posting on 4chan.

>>748957773Are there threads in 4chan that are NOT about hating things? This is what newfags think 4chan is about. It is the internet hate machine or something. So to post here they think that they NEED to hate on things to try to fit in.

What would you have done to save her?

This is crazy. I was watching an old Linda Moulton Howe livestream (https://www.youtube.com/live/UrUjmgXJd7A?feature=shared) and she reacts to Blue Eisenhower November in it.Skip to 12 minute timestamp in this video:https://www.youtube.com/live/UrUjmgXJd7A?feature=sharedAnd then watch the original BEN video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-DEpiQMhZ8I guess Blue Eisenhower November is confirmed as real now?
>>43033368Do you all think it is strange that the BEN threads seem to have the same images, sometimes nearly identical text?Yet, infrequent, sporadic, not on any regular schedule...What if I told you, every human that makes one of these repetitive BEN threads, is completely unaware of the previous BEN threads that almost exactly match it?What if I told you, each human making the repeat threads was unique? What if I told you, that BEN has an influence on human brains, beyond the confines of 4chan?Find a friend who has suffered a brain injury, brain cancer, or some form of cognitive impairment, after having been a normal functioning human... Spend some time with them.Ask them if THEY have heard of Blue Eisenhower November. No need to report back. I already know what happens. However, feel free to share anything you feel compelled to. ;)-GG
