I kind of feel for the devs, they signed up to make a game anonymously for an anonymous audience. Then years go by and when the damn thing's done you can't not put your name as a testament of all the hours your poured, but you still hope for a one-and-done deal.
However 4chan culture shifted and the site goes mainstream (not as mainstream as it got post-2016 but you get the point) so now all the "anons" want to know what you're up to and no respectable company will take you in if you put this in your resume.
Maybe this is me idealizing them but sticking to their guns must've been harsher than cashing in like Salvato or keeping the momentum to pitch towards something profitable like Cavemanon

We as men need to collectively understand, accept and agree that women do the picking and therefore there's zero equality in dating and it is the woman's choice. Once we recognize that, it's easier to give advice because we know we're all starting from a position of having little power over women, we feel acknowledged in our very tough and bad situation we're in, and from the knowledge that we have a penalty, and YES it's not fair - we then have an easier time saying well, it's not just me - it's ALL men experiencing this.
