I can't seem to find a book from my childhood, and I'm fairly confident 4chan can help me track it down. It was in French, so I don't know if that makes it harder. It's a puzzle-style book about a boy and his parrot helping a woman regain her memory, all set against a South American backdrop.The book itself is very large (over 30cm on a side) with a mostly green cover.I've tried to summarize the pages I remember:A young boy's room; there's lots of stuff lying around, and you can see trees through the window. The kid has a parrot. An amnesiac woman arrives and asks for their help. They have to find a magic book without waking up the panther hiding in the room.They're at an outdoor market of sorts, and there's a river. There's a cauldron. There's a recipe for a potion and another recipe—the one for the mixture inside the cauldron. The difference is that someone added a 13th leaf of... something or other. The clue is something like, "In some cultures, the number 13 brings bad luck."The woman drinks it and turns into a giant. Everyone else is flying around her. The boy and the bird spot a trapdoor in her head and climb inside.Inside her brain, everything is upside down; they have to find their way through.There's a mechanism with gears connected to a lever. You have to figure out the right direction.There's something involving a magic cube.There's a chase scene in a maze. The immune system (?) is blocking the exits.At the end, everyone celebrates because it turns out the woman is a queen or princess. There are golden animal statues. The wizard (who stole the other person's memory) escapes through a trapdoor at the bottom right.Throughout the story, the "narrator" who provides the clues is a red Chinese dragon.Thanks to anyone who can help me find this book :)

I'm 22 amab. I graduated uni and got a job. But I have already made a bunch of friends plus I still live with family to save money. I'm not exactly rich or anything, just not poor.And honestly transitioning is sth I've been wrestling with for ages. Yet I never get the courage to do it. Am not out to parents. Maybe I should. I think this genre of man went extinct because women no longer cared about men having "good taste" or being into esoteric media and in fact the culture went the other way and this was seen s weird to know about some like deep Steve Albini cut for a time something really happened after 2015 where it flipped and this was "creepy" and these types of guys all pivoted to politics and adopting leftist political rhetoric and being "ahead of the curve" about what is and isn't problematic. I think this theory has legs and it's not just music it's every medium every single artform all the elitists pivoted to politics.
These types of dudes always existed there not as prevalent in dvd ,comic , and game stores anymore because of the internet but know they are here on 4chan or other sites anon but I could be wrong
