Tensura seems disliked or at least not very popular not just on 4chan but also with the likes of 2ch. Places like plebbit have some fans of Tensura but they are the 2nd-lowest bottom of the barrel among fans that just lust after Rimuru, with the only group that's even worse being the jewtube randos who just like it due to those fake powerscaling videos where all content is just made-up randomly. The real audience is silent, but it's not just average normalfags either. It's a niché of at least above-average earning rich individuals, often managers of all levels for whom it seems to hit just the right spots. This can be concluded from sales data and the fact that it has like ~10 spin-offs by now which only makes sense with an audience that has an upper ceiling in terms of pure quantity, but who also have a lot of money to turn per person compared to the average series. That's not really an especially spicy take but I'd avoid hard caps because sometimes certain games just evoke this sense of "I won't play it for more than x dollars"I won't play Borderlands 4 until I can get it for under 30.I won't play Rhythm Heaven Fever until I can get it for under 40.But I intend to buy Pragmata and Saros at full price in April.Some games I won't pay money for at all. I played Diablo 4 through game pass but no way in hell am I spending 70 dollars or whatever to get in on their endgame loop.But I haven't purchased ANY games in 2026 as of yet just backlog and piracy so I don't feel like I'm wasting money either.Priorities, I guess. I wouldn't skip a game you know is going to be spoiled on 4chan, for example.
