people assume there's some sort of global conspiracy, but occam's razor should really be applied that most people aren't connected to some sort of shady conspiracy, there's just one disease that's causing all of these problems that's only really risen to this level through the internet

By flop I mean, the revenue won't cover the cost of making the game, making it a loss, and thus a "flop" financially. And I also mean, it will be quickly forgotten like Concord, perhaps they will even discontinue certain online-only and optional planned paid non-day-1 DLC features, as it wouldn't make sense to throw good money after bad. So, both definitions of "flop."

They won't even admit how much they've spent on this game, they don't break down their internal financials like that. But they have something like seven thousand people working on this game, and they've been working on it for a decade. IBM's Project 360 had fewer man-months of investment, and (though we may never know) likely a smaller budged adjusted for inflation.

If this game fails, it can take the ENTIRE AAA model with it. Every studio's had AAA flop after flop for a decade or so, successes rarer than failures for sure. Exclusive or multiplat. Flops are the rule. And now that there's no more USAID to prop up games studios, they have to make real revenue. They can't fucking DO IT! LOL

Trust me this all goes back to Gamergate, Trump getting elected, and finally Musk killing USAID, which we now know spent tens of billions per year on "deradicalization" entertainment media including video games, TV, and movies, PER YEAR. In a way, 4chan is responsible for consoles dying, AAA dying, and it's all going to accelerate from here.

I know it is stupid but I wish that I could be a narcissist or antisocial, I have hsp so I'm super sensitive and I care so much about other people, if someone is crying I just feel the pang in my chest, and I can't forget the upsetting things I see on the news, and I can always feel tone shifts, and the shifts in the room.
