I’m not joking or lying or exaggerating when I say I have never been wrong about anything in my life, as far as I know I am the apex of computing machines, I can pretty much solve any problem in seconds without any error, and I’m just slowly getting more and more frustrated, nearly passing out levels of frustration after being alive for a few years

I know that the best I can do is exploit my gift for personal benefit and try to gain all the power I can so that I can overrule imbeciles, but that requires constantly being manipulative and wearing different masks, and 4chan is the one place I where I can vent about the unimaginable level of frustration or feeling like your the only human in a planet of apes, while having to constantly lie and manipulate said apes so that anything positive might happen, and so that they don’t tear me apart for their built in evolutionary mechanisms such as hating anyone they perceive as smarter, hating anyone that makes them feel insecure or inferior, doubling down on their own incorrect beliefs, trying to destroy people who disagree with them even if they’re wrong...
It’s all so tiresome

i uninstalled 4chanx when 4chan went down now it's not in the google store, i tried using tampermonkey but it doesn't do anything

There are only three possibilities:

There is no reason to engage with someone that says Heraclitus' philosophy is definitively known—this is the kind of opinion that comes from someone whose primary source is youtube and 4chan shitposts.
Not to mention the extent to which you value an already presentist interpretation of a philosopher is the problem highlighted ITT. Ignoring every other metaphysical fragment and idea to reduce it to one single interpretation is inappropriate at best.

I did not read Haxton's take on it (The comparison to energy is obvious in the same way that Aristotle's view of fire in his natures* is sometimes compared to energy) but I doubt he reduced Heracliteanism the way you do now, considering it would be a strictly false reduction of it. The reading that Heraclitus' view on the arche simply being energy is interesting, but it by no means defines Heraclitean philosophy. You can try to claim that all of his other beliefs about metaphysics, the soul, etc., are products of this one physical interpretation of materialism but that will stay a single, loose, dubious way to view the philosophy.

*One example:

Compare the sharp contact with reality in this "fragment" I gave with the preceding line, or alternatively this humorous example from Plato's Timaeus:

Oof. It's reasons like this that one cannot say Heracliteanism is settled or known, and why you should avoid presentism in philosophy as much as possible when trying to understand ancient concepts, especially where so little of the original source remains.
