I'm 18 and work at a gas station in a ghetto shithole called Newburgh NY. I deal with a lot of crackheads and losers regularly but rarely are they disrespectful. Today a fat black male in his late 30s - mid 40s came in trying to redeem a scratchoff ticket and he said he'd take another one, I asked him to clarify if he meant another of the same ticket or another scratchoff edition. He starts calling me a retard, insulting me, threatening to beat me up etc, asking if i had autism. I sort of timidly took the insults as I didn't want to lose the job or lose my life if he had a knife or gun. But now I'm regretting not pointing out how much of a loser he was, being obese buying lotto tickets and trying to fight young men at gas stations. I do box so I can defend myself and I've never used it in a real world situation, and this would have been my chance. Now he probably walked away thinking how much of a bitch I was. I hate the thought.
