The actual core problem with /v/ is that people still treat the site like Reddit and Twitter, in that they don't want to be publicly shamed.
Most here think the anger and edginess is genuine and they fear being called out from the flock.

That's why you have so many posters here today that strangely hate anime or go on and on about Reddit spacing, hate gacha, vtubers, Nintendo, prattle on about woke elements, streamers.

A lot of posters here don't really get the 4chan culture, they just think it's like a street gang or something, to the point where people will argue that it's NOT an anime site.
