Drawthread: Christian Edition
>>945565074>are you saying scetic is winning??i don't think scetic killed the drawthreads, I think twitter and discord and drawpiles and the drive to improve your artwork did. all these things drove more people away from the threads than any one person ever could. its not to say that i dont like those things, I do, its just that its inevitable. 4chan is getting old
I've never hated Keiko but I do hate Keiko and Miles as a couple. And I really don’t buy the defense that “they’re just a normal married couple.”They have nothing in common. Our introduction to them is Miles complaining about having to eat Japanese food when he’d rather be having corned beef and cabbage. That’s not playful banter...that’s incompatibility. It honestly makes you wonder if this was an arranged marriage, or if they skipped the entire “dating and discovering shared interests” phase and went straight to vows. They don’t enjoy the same things. They don’t relax the same way. They don’t even seem to like being around each other unless the script requires it. Their communication style is passive-aggressive sniping, long silences, ultimatums disguised as reasonable requests. And when things get patched up, the resolution is almost always just “I love you,” with zero actual growth or change. Love isn’t a reset button. There are multiple episodes that make this worse, not better. Keiko taking a job on Bajor and basically telling Miles to deal with it. Miles constantly confiding in Bashir instead of his wife. What really bugs me is that we’re told they’re a healthy, realistic couple, but this is two people who would have never gotten married....orwould be divorced if this weren’t Star Trek. There’s no shared joy. Very few moments where you think, “Yes, these people genuinely make each other better.” They wouldn't have got married if data hadn't given Keiko a pep talk...and even that came off as 'this is a logical next step' , not 'you guys were meant for each other.'I am married by the way... IMHO, Miles and Keiko feel like a married couple written by someone who has never actually been married....someone who thinks marriage is mostly low-grade misery with occasional 'i love yous', rather than partnership, compromise, and shared love of the same hobbies , interests or goals.

Threads on this topic normally get deleted, but I'd like to discuss it on this board because it is about voodoo, witchcraft, etc, through a 4chan post which is very paranormal.Despite this being a majority atheist website, why do so many anons feel compelled to reply to posts containing "Reply or your mother will die in her sleep?" As an atheist, you shouldn't reply because you don't believe in such voodoo/witchcraft. If you are a Christian or any other religion for that matter, you shouldn't believe this post has power over your God/buddha/etc.That being said, then WHY do such a high number of anons reply to these posts? They get such a high post count every time, that I'd say probably 50% of you faggots probably reply to these posts thinking your mother is seriously endangered if you do not reply.
