I feel like some kind of hysteria or mental plague has overtaken this board and by extension the rest of the gaming community. Its making everyone consumed by misery and hatred, and their “immune system” responds with putting up a facade of irony poisoning and superficial, paleolithic tribalism and insular division. It makes me wonder if anyone here has any reason to go on living if their existence just feels like this unending nightmare of societal decadence.
for 4chan I have no reason to believe any post I reply to is worth it. PR companies, people from countries that shouldnt have internet access to begin with, AI being trained on social media, average trolls, you name it. It wasnt so bad in the early 2000s when the internet wasnt quite as huge as it is now.For the game industry I dont give games any attention until its out and in peoples hands since you cant trust anyone (like above). If I'm lucky a game will be made by some talented people and be worth playing. But because competency is down globally, decent games dont appear often.So I'm just here for furry threads.
