I don't really use 4chan that much but given my lack of social skills, slew of mental issues (all of which are medicated), the fact that I'm currently a neet with exclusively nerd loser hobbies I figured this was a much better place for me than the dating apps. I'm pretty introverted and usually REALLY shy at first but once I get past the initial social barrier I get WAYYYYYY more talkative and outgoing and I'm pretty good at matching peoples energy/sense of humour. My biggest strength when it comes to my personality though is that I'm really kind/sweet, I hate being mean to people almost to a fault (I have trouble putting my foot down and have tendency to let people walk all over me ;-;,) I also get pretty clingy when I really like someone. I'm definitely a submissive leaning person, incase thats a dealbreaker for you. Lastly, I'm an INFP, I know MBTI is bullshit but I fit the stereotype to a T lol

99% of my freetime is spent playing videogames (usually fighting games or RPGs but I'll play LITERALLY anything if its with someone I like, I've been really into deadlock recently too,) or watching anime (some of my favs are violet evergarden, NGE, angel beats and toradora.) I also like listening to music though (pop-punk, jpop, rock etc.) and have recently been getting into working out

No, they just set an agenda and force their audience to follow, then get surprised by pushback. There's an image of a magazine FAQ from 2003 about the card frame change where point 4 or something is "there's nothing you can do about this." Even though I personally quit competitive Magic then, things worked out just fine for WOTC financially. It wasn't until Time Spiral block that they saw feedback affecting their bottom line. Commander is the result of that.

The reason nu-nu-Phyrexia has lost both the aesthetic and the fear is because the people who wrote the Borg experienced existential dread over the Cold War. The next generation of writers wrote what they felt the Borg should be, rather than going to the source, and each successive iteration diluted the essence. Same can be said about post-LOTR fantasy and post-TSR D&D: instead of dipping into the source's inspirations, later authors dip into the source itself, and their successors don't even go that far.
