Fuck. I'd typed out something long but it got cleared. Probably for the best.I caved a few days ago and got an onahole. Now I hate it and myself and want to get a pair of scissors and cut it into shreds and throw it out, as well as quit PMO because I know this is not the person I want to be. I don't want to be a slave to my id. But I'm scared of failure, and I'm also scared that for anything to truly change I'll have to get rid of everything else: the time wasters, scrolling YouTube, useless 4chan threads, junk food as reward etc. So when I think about throwing it out and changing my life, self-actualizing etc, it's as though I become trapped in a prison cell, a lattice of my mind's making... but it's all artificial. I can reach out with my hand and my fingers go through the bars. I KNOW I can just walk out and free myself. But suddenly, thinking about the rest of my life without this crutch I've used and gotten used to for so long that doesn't even feel good and I know it makes me a worse person and yet I don't trust myself enough to hold myself to my word and UGH! It's all just a bunch of rationalizations and I cannot step away to think soberly about this. I know what to do, I KNOW the rest of my life, a good and true life, a sovereign life, is right around the corner, and yet I elect to stay in this cave as it were. I've made lists of things to do with the free time and energy I'll get when I'm no longer wasting my life like this. I'd study for a placement test for grad school, learn a language, work out, perhaps seriously learn to draw... and yet the uncertainty around that corner scares me. I don't know if it's the vastness of possibilities or whatever Evola would say, but I keep psyching myself out and continue to stay in my prison cell, in my cave. I'm such a fucking coward who won't take the leap. How do I quit?
