It's funny how the internet basically just looped around to that. Forums, imageboards, tumblr, etc are all much more collaborative and community driven, but ultimately can't compete with sites that have a very clear distinction between creator and consumer. Streaming is another similar thing where there is minimal input from most users and you just type "LUL" in chat while someone else does all the work.

I think it's just an inevitability when most people would rather be consumers, and also it's much easier to sell people stuff that way. If you're making memes on 4chan to make anons laugh there's no money in it, but if you take those memes and post them on twitter or instagram you can promote your brain and sell t shirts or whatever bullshit people do.

Mars falls in Cancer in the 9th (heavy oof there usually), but seems to be redeemed in a Grand Water Trine with Sol in Scorpio and Uranus in Pisces. Uranus on IC really screams surprise inheritance to me. Maybe it wasn't money, but it sharing a Grand Trine side with Mars in the 8th does suggest to me it could be monetary but only with a cost (Cancer wants Security and 8th could be lottery winnings for an example).
